ComfortDelGro (CDG) plans to start moving applications off the public cloud now an upgrade to VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) 9.1 has given its private cloud the ability to run containerised workloads in production.
Its IT team completed the first leg of the upgrade the night before Dirk Paul Sibiet, CDG’s group CIO, spoke to Computer Weekly. Work on the second availability zone follows over the coming weeks, and new development will now come back on-premise.
